The minister of Youth and Sports Development, Mr. Sunday Dare has congratulated Sayo Owolabi on his appointment as Senior Special Advisor Africa of the Esports World Federation.
According to the Honourable Minister, Mr. Sunday Dare, this is a well deserved appointment and recognition.
Sayo will have a key role to play in the video gaming content industry which Nigeria Sports Ministry is plugging into. “This industry can employ many of our youth who already are tech savvy and love sports. Many esports associations are sprouting and we will allow them go “.
Dare has earlier sent a congratulatory tweet to Owolabi. He admonished Mr Sayo Owolabi that the appointment is a reward of hard work and diligence.
