The Netherlands’ Amsterdam squad showcased their championship caliber with a decisive 21-14 victory over Miami (USA) in the FIBA 3×3 World Tour Abu Dhabi Final on October 27. The win marks their second stop victory of the season, reinforcing their position as one of the premier teams in professional 3×3 basketball.

Led by tournament MVP Worthy de Jong’s outstanding performance of 37 points and a team-high 45.5 player value, Amsterdam demonstrated their versatility through both dominant paint presence and sharp perimeter shooting. Bryan Alberts proved instrumental in the victory, delivering crucial back-to-back two-pointers that helped establish a commanding 13-9 lead during a critical phase of the final.

The championship game featured intense back-and-forth action, with Miami’s Trey Bardsley and Travis keeping the American side within striking distance through defensive stops and precise outside shooting. However, Amsterdam’s balanced attack, featuring contributions from Jan Driessen and Arvin Slagter, proved too much for the American squad to overcome.

The tournament also celebrated individual excellence beyond the team competition, with Ub’s Dejan Majstorovic claiming victory in the Abu Dhabi Municipality shootout contest and David Carlos emerging triumphant in the Maurice Lacroix dunk contest. The event’s success further cements Abu Dhabi’s status as a premier destination for world-class 3×3 basketball competition.
