NNL to Mandate the Use of DTMS for Clubs

Chief Operating Officer (COO) of the Nigeria National League(NNL), Mr. Emmanuel Adesanya has hinted on strategies that will ease the use of the Domestic Transfer Matching System (DTMS) in its clubs before the new season kicks off by organizing a refresher course to further acquaint all managers.

The use of the (DTMS) in the registration and transfer of players ahead of the new calendar in the Nigeria National League has been brought to the front burner by the management of the Nigeria National League.

According to global best practices as approved by the world football governing body,(FIFA), it is compulsory for clubs to have functional DTMS accounts, and The NNL in line with such provisions has requested clubs to transmit to the League body (Secretariat) such effective account.

The clubs are as well to forward the names of their DTMS managers to enable the NNL liaise with the clubs adequately and to keep proper track and movement of players from one club to another.
